Municipal Council Charkhi Dadri

The Municipal Council Charkhi Dadri is a local self-government body responsible for the civic administration of Charkhi Dadri city in Haryana, India. Established under the Haryana Municipal Act, 1973, it works tirelessly to provide essential civic services and ensure sustainable urban development for the residents.

Charkhi Dadri became a separate district on December 1, 2016. It was previously part of the Bhiwani district and was officially notified as the 22nd district of Haryana on November 16, 2016. The district headquarters is located in the city of Charkhi Dadri, which was formed by merging two villages, Charkhi and Dadri, during urban development. The Municipal Council plays a pivotal role in maintaining cleanliness, managing solid waste, providing street lighting, constructing and maintaining roads, ensuring water supply and drainage, and promoting public health and sanitation under initiatives like Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban).
